QM-BLOCK
The QMSOFT®/QM-BLOCK program is used for the computer-aided testing of parallel gauge blocks in the form of individual gauge blocks or assembled sets of gauge blocks, which serve as measuring standards, particularly in the field of mechanical engineering, as a reference standard for passing on lengths. The program enables testing to be carried out in different test levels (center dimension, center dimension and deviation ranges). The test evaluation is based on the ISO 3650 standard. In addition, your own tolerance systems including your own accuracy classes can be defined and stored.
Description
The QMSOFT®/QM-BLOCK program is used for the computer-aided testing of parallel gauge blocks in the form of individual gauge blocks or assembled sets of gauge blocks, which serve as measuring standards, particularly in the field of mechanical engineering, as a reference standard for passing on lengths. The program enables testing to be carried out in different test levels (center dimension, center dimension and deviation ranges). The test evaluation is based on the ISO 3650 standard. In addition, your own tolerance systems including your own accuracy classes can be defined and stored.
Most gauge block testing stations work according to the principle of measuring the difference between a known standard gauge block and the gauge block to be tested, which must have the same nominal dimension as the standard gauge block. The program also supports devices with so-called long-path buttons. As a rule, 5 measuring positions (see standard) are touched per test item. The measurement data can be entered either from a measuring device linked online or via a keyboard.
QMSOFT®/QM-BLOCK accesses the test equipment management system QMSOFT® for management functions for sets of gauge blocks (standard or test object sets). /QM-MANAGE (professional or lite edition), i.e. the storage of the record structure, the monitoring of the calibration dates and the storage of the history of a gauge block with all individual measured values and the test certificate can only be found in the module QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE instead.
Knowledge of the standards and mastery of the measurement procedures used for the test are required. In the result log, the master data of the test item is clearly prepared in conjunction with the test conditions and the measurement results. Tolerance violations are marked and reported in terms of amount.
