QM-CALIP

The QMSOFT®/QM-CALIP program is used for the computer-aided testing of vernier calipers either according to the DIN 862 standard, according to the VDI/VDE/DGQ guideline 2618 (sheet 9.1, sheet 9.2 and sheet 9.3) or according to the factory standard or other international standards.

Description

The QMSOFT®/QM-CALIP program is used for the computer-aided testing of vernier calipers either according to the DIN 862 standard, according to the VDI/VDE/DGQ guideline 2618 (sheet 9.1, sheet 9.2 and sheet 9.3) or according to the factory standard or other international standards. The evaluation is based on the following standards:

  • DIN 862, December 1988 edition
  • VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618, January 1991 edition
  • British Standard BS 887 and Australian Standard AS 1984
  • French standard XP E 11-091 : 1998
  • Indian Standard IS:3651-1982 (2000)

From the measurement data, the program determines the extreme value of the measurement deviation G for the external, internal and depth measuring device according to the type of micrometer screw. The input parameters required for the evaluation are checked for plausibility in accordance with the scope of the applicable standard or guideline.

Knowledge of the standards and mastery of the measurement procedures used for the test are required. In the result log, the master data of the test item is clearly prepared in conjunction with the test conditions and the measurement results. Tolerance violations are marked and reported in terms of amount.

The program works with the test equipment management program QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE professional edition, whereby the The test results obtained by the program (including the test report) are then returned directly to the test equipment database.
