Almost every company today is faced with the task of meeting the requirements of DIN-ISO 9000 and other series of standards for consistent verification in the area of quality assurance and especially in the area of test equipment monitoring. The practical implementation of these requirements ranges from simple card index systems to PC-based test equipment database systems to very complex solutions for workstations and mainframe computers.

The test equipment management module QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE gives you the opportunity to manage your test equipment inventory either locally on your MS Windows-compatible computer or as part of a client/server environment on a database server. It offers all practice-relevant functions for maintaining and updating your inventory data, including keeping a complete history of the test equipment. The system is multi-client capable; the number of clients, as well as the number of test equipment master data and history entries, is practically unlimited. QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE works with all QMSOFT® tolerance calculation and testing programs, whereby the test results obtained there, including the test protocols, are automatically transferred to the database.
With the help of the three expansion levels of QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE (professional edition, lite edition, viewer edition) as well as various optional plug-ins (QM-CERTMAN, QM-ORDER, QM-CALCUL, QM-STOCK), a wide variety of application scenarios can be implemented be: a simple workstation for viewing the database content, a tool issuing station or a complex administration workstation can be set up easily and at optimal cost. Powerful data transfer functions also ensure the connection to external calibration service providers.

QM-ORDER
The QMSOFT®/QM-ORDER plug-in is used to manage the order flow in a calibration laboratory. It can be used in the various stages of order processing to document the scope of the order, incoming and outgoing goods and billing. Special cases such as a partial return delivery, delivery notes for several orders, etc. are possible. The plug-in requires at least one license of the test equipment management program QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE professional edition.

QM-CALCUL
The QMSOFT®/QM-CALCUL plug-in is an optionally available function for billing calibration services and associated ancillary activities such as cleaning, battery replacement, etc. through to the creation of delivery notes and invoices. It is integrated into the user interface of the test equipment management system QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE and is usually addressed there via appropriate dialog elements. The plug-in requires at least one license of the test equipment management program QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE professional edition and is based on the plug-in QMSOFT®/QM-ORDER.

The QMSOFT®/QM-CALCUL plug-in is an optionally available function for billing calibration services and associated ancillary activities such as cleaning, battery replacement, etc. through to the creation of delivery notes and invoices. It is integrated into the user interface of the test equipment management system QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE and is usually addressed there via appropriate dialog elements.
A separate start of the plug-in is only used to enter and manage all the basic information required for billing, such as product names and their order numbers, creating price lists and specifying discount levels, as well as carrying out and documenting the actual billing actions.
Services provided (products defined in a price list) and the associated prices can be combined with a testing equipment promotion (e.g. “cleaning” or “shipping for repair”) or, in the event that the price of the service depends on the type of testing equipment, with a specific type of test equipment can be linked. Services/products that are linked to a promotion are automatically available for every existing test equipment type.
In exceptional cases, billing items can also be linked directly to individual testing equipment. These links are primarily needed to ensure compatibility with billing in old QMSOFT® releases. If billing items are linked to an individual test equipment, they generally have priority over the billing/price items linked to the associated test equipment type.

QM-STOCK
Das Plug-in QMSOFT®/QM-STOCK realisert einfache Bedienabläufe für die rationelle Ausgabe bzw. Rücknahme von Prüfmitteln und ist speziell für den Bereich des Prüfmittelhandlings entworfen worden, in dem die große Funktionsvielfalt der Standard-Bedienoberfläche des Programms QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE nicht gewünscht wird, da sie den Benutzer in dieser konkreten Situation eher überfordert. Die Auswahl der Prüfmittel erfolgt dabei anhand der Identnummer, die auch per RFID- oder Barcode-Lesegerät vom Prüfmittel “abgelesen” werden kann, so dass der manuelle Bedienaufwand auf ein absolutes Minimum reduziert wird. Das Programm arbeitet als Plug-in mit dem Prüfmittelverwaltungsprogramm QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE zusammen.
