QM-THREAD
The QMSOFT®/QM-THREAD program is used for the computer-aided testing of threads or gauges for thread testing. The generation of all required thread (gauge) target values for the following standards is supported.

The QMSOFT®/QM-THREAD program is used for the computer-aided testing of threads or gauges for thread testing. The generation of all required thread (gauge) target values for the following standards is supported:
- Metric ISO threads according to DIN ISO 1502:1996 (DIN ISO 965:1998)
- Gauges for ISO metric threads according to ANSI B1.16M-1984
- Metric ISO trapezoidal thread according to DIN 103:1997
- “Unified” thread or thread gauges according to ANSI/ASME B1.1-1983/B1.2-1983
- Thread gauges for “Unified” threads (ANSI/ASME B1.1) according to BS 919:Part1:1960
- Gauges for pipe threads according to DIN ISO 228:2000
- Gauges for pipe threads according to DIN 259:1979 (old)
- Armored pipe thread according to DIN 40430, DIN 40431:1972
- Gauges for round threads according to DIN 405:1997
- Whitworth thread or thread gauges according to BS 84:1956 / BS 919:Part2:1971
- NPSM thread according to ANSI/ASME 1.20.1-1983

Knowledge of the standards and mastery of the measuring methods used for gauge testing are required. The measurement data can be entered either from a measuring device linked online or via a keyboard. In the result log, the master data of the test item is clearly prepared in conjunction with the test conditions and the measurement results. Tolerance violations are marked and reported in terms of amount.
The program works with the test equipment management program QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE professional edition, whereby the test results obtained by the program (including the test report) are then returned directly to the test equipment database.
