The QMSOFT®/QM-TORQUE program is used for the computer-aided testing of torque tools in accordance with the DIN ISO 6789 standard and can therefore be used for indicating and triggering torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers.

The measurement data can be entered either from a measuring device linked online or via a keyboard. The measuring device is connected to the evaluation computer via a serial interface (RS 232).

The program determines the deviation range of the display from the measurement data according to the type of torque tool. The required tolerance values are determined automatically. For torque tools according to factory standards (the number is largely unlimited), a tolerance table is stored that can record the tolerance entries.

Knowledge of the standards and mastery of the measurement procedures used for the test are required. In the result log, the master data of the test item is clearly prepared in conjunction with the test conditions and the measurement results. Tolerance violations are marked and reported in terms of amount.

The program works with the test equipment management program QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE professional edition, whereby the The test results obtained by the program (including the test report) are then returned directly to the test equipment database.
