The QMSOFT®/QM-COMP program is used for the computer-aided testing of gauge block comparators using a special 11-piece gauge block set. The test procedure corresponds to the DKD guideline DKD-R 4-1 “Selection and calibration of gauge block measuring devices for use as standard devices in calibration laboratories”.

Knowledge of the guidelines and mastery of the measurement procedures used for the test are required. In the result log, the master data of the test item is clearly prepared in conjunction with the test conditions and the measurement results. Tolerance violations are marked and reported in terms of amount.

The program works with the test equipment management program QMSOFT®/QM-MANAGE professional edition, whereby the the test results obtained by the program (including the test report) are then returned directly to the test equipment database.
